Nature as medicine
Homeopathy Clinics and Medicinal Plant Conservation
This two-year project is a continuation of the Homeopathy and healthy nutrition for all project with a focus on continuing the mobile homeopathy clinics, as well as working with traditional healers to protect medicinal plants. Sahee has been working with Swaziland Homeopathy Project, SHP, for over ten years and through this partnership aims to promote access to health services and natural treatments (Homeopathy shall become accessible for all, Propagation of a holistic treatment and homeopathy in Eswatini, Sustainable Homeopathy, and Homeopathy: a good, low cost and humane alternative). Especially in times of COVID, it could be noticed in Eswatini that patients appreciate and increasingly use the services of SHP, as it enables them to discuss mental and physical suffering with someone who listens to them and takes them seriously. Mental ailments in particular have risen sharply since COVID. SHP consciously sees their services as complementary to conventional medical services and aim to strengthen patients' general health (see also Herbs against HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis).

Project overview
Every two months, SHP organizes a market for sustainably produced food. The market provides an outlet for local farmers, raises awareness among the urban population and increases SHP's visibility.
The nursery of rare medicinal plants is an important part of SHP's work.
Traditional medicine men and women are part of the project: with SHP's help, they plant medicinal plants in their gardens to reinforce their stock.
