Homeopathy and healthy nutrition for all

Swaziland Homeopathy Project

The Swaziland Homeopathy Project (SHP) has demonstrated during the last ten years that an affordable health choice in the form of homeopathy can make a difference to quality of life and health. It also discovered that many people are living with chronic disease directly as a result of unhealthy eating practices. To address this problem, SHP continues to bring homeopathic treatment to the rural and urban population of Eswatini (see all SHP projects since 2009: Homeopathy shall become accessible for all, Propagation of a holistic treatment and homeopathy in Eswatini, Sustainable Homeopathy, and Homeopathy: a good, low cost and humane alternative) but further launches a series of initiatives to promote healthy nutrition, including mini workshops, a health guide, a farmers market and an urban gardening scheme. Furthermore, following the success of the medicinal plants project (see Herbs against HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis) two additional endangered medicinal plants will be cultivated and made available as homeopathic remedies.
After almost 10 years of support by sahee characterized by a remarkable development in regard to proving the positive impact of homeopathic treatment (through maintaining a professional patients data base) and by showing creativity in regard to extending activities to related areas (such as the medicinal plants project Herbs against HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis), sahee decided to support SHP as an organisation instead of specific projects. However, the overall goal remains the same: to provide free or affordable homeopathy in Eswatini and to increase the life expectancy and quality of life of people through empowering them to become actively responsible for their health.
