Chicken for Orphans

Broiler Chicken of the Iyaphendula-women-group to support orphans

A group of women with a vision approached sahee for funding of a Chicken Broiler Project. They needed a sustainable way to generate a reliable income to care for more than 60 orphans, Children in their neighborhood who lost their parents. Most of them have died due to an Aids-related disease. Giving these Children not just their daily food but allow them to go to school and have a chance in their lives is the main concern of these women who gave themselves the name “Nkhosi Iyaphendula“ “Friends of God who is our answer“.

sahee brought them in contact with Imbita, a competent local NGO in the sector of small businesses and micro finance.
