Swaziland's First Hospitality-Management School

Bulembu Community Based Vocational Training Conference Centre

Swaziland has a considerable lack of educated people who are able to work in the fields of tourism and hospitality. It is this sector that shows the highest growth rates and is able to absorb the highest numbers of educated people in the country. So far there are no possibilities for Swazi to get an adequate education in this field in their own country. Government and the local tourism industry are showing keen interest in this new initiative of Bulembu Ministries (BMS).
BMS will carry out modifications of an existing church that will become the vocational training centre. At the same time, curricula, adapted to Swaziland's needs, will be developed and teachers and professors for the new school recruited and trained.
The first students will be able to attend courses from 2011 on.
This project contributes towards a reduction in the high rates of unemployment by offering a meaningful and much needed education. It also will contribute to increase the level of services offered in Swaziland's tourism.
